Charlie's Purple Pie story began in a small kitchen in San Francisco, CA. Our founder, Charlie, has Texas roots and a love for baking. The Bay Area introduced him to the ube purple sweet potato. This purple yam originates from the Philippines. He started by giving away his pies to family and friends and quickly gained a loyal following.
As demand for pies grew, he knew it was time to expand. We will soon be accepting orders online for Bay Area delivery and we will continue to bake our pies with the same care as always.
We believe that quality should never be compromised. That's why we use only the finest ingredients, from our purple sweet potato, and fresh spices. We also bake our pies in small batches to ensure that each one is perfect.
